The Taoiseach has thanked Ronan Glynn for what he describes as his outstanding service to the Irish people as Deputy CMO.
Dr Ronan Glynn has resigned from his position as Deputy Chief Medical Officer and will leave the role at the end of the month.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin has thanked Dr. Glynn for his service and says he worked very well with him throughout the pandemic.

An Taoiseach says Ronan Glynn's unstinting, dedicated and tireless work in fighting COVID-19 was so important to the health and wellbeing of the nation.
He has also said he personifies the very best of Irish public service, and has wished him well in the future.
