A major search operation's underway for a missing fisherman, after a boat sank off the south-east coast.
At around 10:30pm, the Coast Guard and lifeboat was alerted after a boat got into difficulty and sank south of Hook Head.
One man was recovered by the Rescue 117 helicopter which was dispatched to aid the operation.
He was flown to Waterford Airport and then transferred to ambulance and taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment.
The search for the missing man is ongoing.
The RNLI from Dunmore East and Kilmore Quay are assisting in the operation.
