A second case of Coronavirus has been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.

The patient is a woman in the east of the country who recently traveled back from Northern Italy. Some 397 people have been tested for the virus - that number is up from 90 this day last week.

The HSE is working to identify what contacts the patient may have had to prevent further spread of the virus. They say this case is not associated with the previously identified case.

The news comes as two major Dublin companies have told staff to work from home tomorrow as a precaution against the spread of the virus. Google's European headquarters in Dublin has been shut down after a worker developed flu-like symptoms, and Web Summit is to close for two weeks as a precaution.

Meanwhile in the UK, NHS England has declared a level four incident - the highest possible - over coronavirus.

It means extra information is being given to hospitals so they can prepare for an expected rise in cases.
