Scottish National Party leader, Nicola Sturgeon, has warned Boris Johnson Scotland cannot be imprisoned in the union against its will.
The Scottish First Minister says her party's success in the general election gives her a mandate to hold a second independence referendum.
UK ministers are against such a move with Michael Gove saying the last vote was supposed to be a choice for a generation.
