A 20 year old man remains in Garda custody after an attack on a teenage boy at a house in County Louth yesterday afternoon.
It's understood the sixteen year old teenager sustained a number of laceration wounds when he was assaulted by a male intruder armed with what's was described as a Samurai sword.
The man burst into the house in the Castleross Estate in Dundalk at around ten past two yesterday afternoon.
The teenager's in a stable condition in hospital and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
