Authorities in Australia say Sydney's famous New Year's Eve fireworks are still scheduled to go ahead, despite the country's wildfires.
The fires have left nine people dead nationwide and destroyed more than 1-thousand homes in the past several weeks.
Although preparations are being made ahead of Tuesday night - officials can't rule out having to cancel the big event at the last minute.
Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons from the fire service doesn't think that’s likely though.
