Three men have been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis grow house in County Galway.
Gardaí seized 200 thousand euro worth of drugs during the course of two searches.
Members of the Galway Divisional Drug Unit carried out a planned search of a home in Aughrim yesterday evening.
They discovered a grow house containing cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €146 thousand.
€20 thousand worth of cannabis herb was also discovered in the house.
Two men in their 30s were arrested at the scene and were held at Galway Garda Station.
They have been charged and are due to appear before a special sitting of Galway District Court this evening.
Another search was carried out at a home in Ballinasloe yesterday afternoon, during which an estimated €35 thousand worth of cannabis herb.
Gardaí also found €7,500 in cash, and some cannabis jellies were seized during their search.
Gardaí arrested a man in his 40s, but he's since been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The investigation forms part of Operation Tara - the Gardaí's strategy to dismantle drug trafficking networks around the country.
