The UK's post-Brexit trade deal with the European Union has been signed into law, with just hours to go before the transition period ends.
The legislation was rushed through Parliament yesterday to ensure it would meet the 11pm deadline tonight.
From then on, the UK will no longer follow EU rules.
Meanwhile, Boris Johnson's father is applying for a French passport.
Stanley Johnson, who used to be an MEP and voted Remain in the 2016 referendum, says he will "always be a European".
The 80-year-old's mother was born in France.
He says asking for a passport is about "reclaiming what I already have".
