198 civilians have been killed so far by Russian forces.

Fighting has reached the streets of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, as Russia's invasion continues.

Troops are descending on the city with the President's office now claiming four cities in the country are engaged in battle.

People living in Kyiv are being told to take shelter and keep away from windows and balconies.

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, has told people on social media they won't surrender.

A missile has been filmed hitting a residential block there.

Ukraine’s health minister said 198 civilians, including three children, have been killed so far by Russian forces.

Thousands of protesters have gathered in cities, including in Russia itself to demonstrate against the war.

While it's understood a total of 27 nations have agreed to give more support to Ukraine.

Today, there'll be a protest outside the Russian Embassy in Dublin over the country's invasion of Ukraine.

It's being organised by the Labour Party, which is among those calling on the government to expel the Russian Ambassador to Ireland.

Protesters will gather outside the embassy at 1 o'clock this afternoon.
