Weddings and the wedding industry were hit hard by the pandemic.

A wedding expert says demand and costs in relation to weddings have never been higher.
Hotels, spas and venues have reportedly seen an influx of wedding bookings since the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, with many pushing up their prices.
Waiting lists for suit rentals and a saturated second-hand wedding dress market are also signs that things are back at pre-pandemic levels.
There are still drop-offs of guests who are nervous or symptomatic, but wedding expert Sara Kennedy says business is booming:
"Those who are getting married now, they're just delighted, they've gone through all the trauma so they're really happy to go and have a fantastic day.
"[The] majority of the venues that moved to a more flexible package to suit more weddings, they've pulled those packages."
Demand
Cathal Molloy, who is the founder of the Irish Wedding Band Association, has said the phone is ringing off the hook:
"The biggest problem we have now is demand for wedding bands. There was a huge shift when COVID happened, it's kind of put wedding bands into a real professional-looking space and the demand for wedding bands has never been this strong."
