While parts of mainland Europe bake through unprecedented temperatures, things will be a little cooler here
Unfortunately, it appears that Ireland's heatwave may be all but over...
However the weather in store for the Bank Holiday weekend is nothing to be sniffed at...
Here's a quick breakdown of how things will go down tonight and over the next three days:
Met Éireann is predicting highs of around 20 to 24 degrees today with some light breezes for the rest of today.
While it looks like Saturday will be generally dry with highs of 19 to 22 degrees, with a mix of cloud and some periods of sunshine.
As for Sunday, it's set to be mostly dry with the best sunshine and highest temperatures occurring over Leinster and Munster and highs of 19 to 25 degrees.
Finally, for that glorious day that the majority of people will have free from work... Monday, will have scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle across the north and west of the country, but it'll be generally dry with highs of 17 to 22!
All in all not a bad outlook!
With some great sport and festivals happening across the Country, all is set for a great three-day weekend.
