Nightmare!
Footage of a food delivery driver chowing down on a customer's chips has led to calls for greater policing of food safety practices.
The anonymous driver works for company Uber Eats in Melbourne, and was caught red handed by a security camera while delivering food to an apartment.
The footage was obtained by Melbourne radio station Triple M, and was discussed on the Hot Breakfast with Eddie McGuire.
In the video the delivery man reaches into a brown paper bag while waiting for a customer to come to the door and collect their order, and devours a large chip.
Hot Breakfast host Eddie McGuire said the customer, a friend of his, alerted him to the video, telling him: “you need to look at this one.”
Hospitality worker Stuart Cameron assists restaurants with social media, with many outlets telling him food from online delivery services go missing and there’s little they can do.

“The drivers are just cancelling the orders, then the customers are ringing the restaurants to say, ‘Where’s my food’,” Mr Cameron told Triple M.
“I think there needs to be some sort of regulation in place, maybe staff need to go through training.”
The footage has left many people disgusted, with one describing the driver as a “pig,” on social media.
“It’s not on. If someone took a bite out of my roll just before I was about to eat it, I wouldn’t be too happy,” they said.
In a statement, Uber Eats said drivers are “expected to comply with its community guidelines or risk losing access to the app for tampering.”
