Prince Harry has comforted a young boy who tragically lost his mother.

Prince Harry has shared a touching moment with a young boy in New Zealand who recently lost his mother.

While touring Auckland with his wife Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex met Six-year-old Otia Nante whose mother had recently taken her own life.

Harry chatted to Otia for several minutes, his grandmother Te Nante, 52, told News Corp.

“Everything will be OK — look at me,” Harry told Otia, also explaining to the schoolboy how important grandparents are.

Onlookers reported the prince referenced his relationship with Meghan, telling Otia: “I have met this amazing woman and I have now married her.”

Harry, who was just 12 when his mother Diana died in a car crash, also consoled Otia’s grandmother.

“You’re doing a great job, Nan,” he said.

“Nans are so important in our lives.”
