Gardai still appealing for witnesses after fatal Motorcycle collision in Co Kildare

Gardai are still appealing for witnesses after a man aged in his 50s was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a 4x4 vehicle, near Monasterevin Co Kildare in the early hours of Friday last.

The collision occurred at approximately 2.15pm on August 17th and involved a black Isuzu crew cab 4x4 vehicle.

He was taken by ambulance to Naas General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver and sole occupant of the 4x4 (male 60s) was also taken by ambulance to Naas Hospital, his condition is unknown.

Gardaí are particularly anxious to speak to the driver of a silver Nissan Micra which was travelling behind the Isuzu in the direction of Monasterevin.
