Smokers will no longer be able to smoke in outdoor dining areas

The smoking ban in Ireland is set to cover more areas, as Fine Gael Senators urge Minister for Health Simon Harries to change the current legislation surrounding the issue.

Primarily, the Government want to extend the smoking ban to include outdoor dining areas, such as street fronts.

The Irish Times are reporting Harris will ask for cabinet approval on the matter on today.
