Poor old Longford.. tourists don't know what they're missing!
According to data released by Failte Ireland today, the most visited County in the Country last year was... Dublin (surprise, surprise)!
Dublin was followed by tourist hotspots Galway, Cork, and Kerry...
While Longford claimed the title of Ireland’s least visited county.
Around nine million overseas tourists visited Ireland in 2017, resulting in around €4.9 billion being spent.
Here's the complete top ten:
- Dublin: 5,936,000 (€1981m)
- Galway: 1,673,000 (€589m)
- Cork: 1,600,000 (€631m)
