The cost of cigarettes is going up in 2019.
Minister for Finance Paschal Donohue has announced today that the price of cigarettes will increase in Ireland in 2019.
Addressing the Dáil today while delivering the 2019 Budget, the minister stated a pack of 20 cigarettes will increase by 50 cents.
Along with a pro-rate increase on other tobacco products.
The average price of a packet of 20 cigarettes in Ireland will now be €12.70.
