The priest sustained minor injuries
It has emerged an elderly priest was robbed at knife point by a woman in Co Kilkenny over the weekend.
The incident took place at the parochial house in Coon on Saturday at about 5pm.
It's reported the woman produced a knife and stole money before fleeing the scene.
The priest, Fr John Delaney (86), sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Gardaí are investigating the incident.
