Each intensive course is 5 hours long which is broken into 4 x 75 minute classes spread across the two weeks of Easter.
With the Easter holidays starting this is also the traditional Easter revision time for students.
The schools have been closed and students are looking for practical help in preparing for exams.
Robert Glynn who established The Learning Academy explains that it’s Ireland’s first virtual grinds school offering live, online, interactive, affordable grinds in association with CJ Fallon:
''Each class is recorded and accessible to be viewed as many times as students need for their studies.
This is a solution for Leaving and Junior Certificate students to get classes and grinds from qualified teachers in nearly all subjects.
It also offers features such as live whiteboards and a facility for students to post questions anonymously.
Once they log in to their scheduled classes, they are live with the teachers and the other students in their class.
Students can ask questions during the class by either ‘raising their hand’ and verbally asking the teacher a question through the microphone on their device or they can publicly or privately message their teacher and the teacher will respond to them in real-time.
The class video and associated notes are also converted into a PDF file which students can download. Students are completely anonymous to both teachers and other students.
The Learning Academy are currently offering ‘buy one get one free’ across all Term 3 courses.
Students can enroll in one Term 3 course through the website and can select a second course of their choice for free.
