The HSE has revealed that uptake of the vaccine against cervical cancer has risen to 70 per cent.

HSE vaccination teams are currently administering the second dose of the HPV vaccine to girls in first year of secondary school around the country.

Louise spoke to Dr Lucy Jessop, Head of the HSE’s National Immunisation Office.
