How do you keep something secret from the entire world?

Tricky Travelling

How do you keep such a big secret, a secret? That's what iRadio's Dave & Fionnuala wanted to find out from Westlife's Shane Filan. In an interview on The Lift on iRadio, he said "We were so paranoid about even travelling together or going to airports, we were travelling over and back to London to record with Steve (Mac). This was like six months before we even announced Croke Park. We didn't want to spoil it, we didn't want anyone to know it was happening."

When asked about the logistics of keeping it under wraps Shane revealed that "We didn't travel together, we tried to avoid each other at all costs, separate cars, separate planes, separate everything"

New Westlife, Classic Westlife

Speaking about their latest single Better Man, Shane told The Lift that "it was the first song we recorded for the album, and it was the first song Ed (Sheeran) and Steve (Mac) wrote together for Westlife and basically they wanted to write a Westlife song, and they wrote this song and its classic Westlife, 2019 classic Westlife if that makes sense"
