It hooks you in from the very beginning and sets you up for a the entertainment and drama that lies ahead.

It has drama. It packs a punch. It's glorious.

Arguably, this is the most iconic theme tune on this list. It's catchy and many of us still know every single lyric.

6. Friends 

We can still give a good rendition of this song and have our timing of the claps down to a tee too!

7. Rugrats

And just like that, all 90s babys are transported back to a time when Rugrats was your biggest commitment. 

8. Fair City 

Say what you like about Fair City, it has a pure catchy theme tune. 

9. Match Of The Day

Even if you're not a football fan, you'll recognise the iconic theme tune from Match of the Day. 

10. The Sunday Game 

Is there a man, woman, or child in Ireland that doesn't know that this is? The tune is actually by a German composer called James Last and here's a fun fact - he played it to thousands of people at a concert at the Rose of Tralee festival in 1984.
