Tinder has released a list of the 30 most popular users in Ireland and the UK for 2019 and three Irish people made the exclusive group.

Tinder has conducted a search to find the people who users swiped right to most frequently and the list includes 16 men and 14 women, aged 19-34.

The full list was published on Cosmopolitan along with a full bio for each Tinder user.

The three Irish users are 27-year-old Dubliner Dáire, mechanical engineer Liam, 23, from Galway and a 21-year-old entrepreneur  Shane from Westmeath.

All three lads recommended showing off a sense of humour to stand out on Tinder, which has 26 million matches worldwide every day.
Being in demand doesn't always mean a good dating experience though, Dáire said he was once accused of stealing a woman's purse.

"The date itself went really well but at the end of the night she realised her purse was missing," he explained. "After helping her search for it, my date looked at me and said, 'Now’s the time to tell me if you’ve taken it...' I hadn’t, obviously, and she messaged the next day apologising after a taxi driver found it."
