"Nice top but OMG the bottoms!"

The internet can be a pretty immature place at times, and nothing is a better example of that then how people have lost it these bikini bottoms.

The two piece swimsuits which is stocked by Marks and Spencer, features a sunset pattern in a peach and red colourway which darkens to a bright red triangle on the bikini bottom.

However there's just one little problem... the red pattern at the crotch has confused customers because the design looks like a period stain.

One customer purchased the swimsuit before they noticed the unusual design, and left an angry review on the M&S website.

"Nice top but OMG the bottoms!" the shopper wrote.

"I have kept the top as I love it and can mix and match with my other bottoms but OMG !!! the bottoms are definitely a no no !!!"

"The red ombré patch on the front is in the wrong place it looks as if I have a very bad leakage when on my period!!!"

"Definitely NOT a good look or one I want to sport when I am on my holiday. I was very disappointed as the fit is nice and so is the shape but the red patch at the front is definitely all wrong !!!''

Other customers also  expressed their confusion on social media.

"Not a look I want to go for this summer," one said.

Of course it's important to remember that this is 2019 and there's absolutely nothing wrong with women allowing their period to show through their clothing.

But it's probably just not necessary for big name fashion brands to make that decision for them...
