Another incentive for that morning coffee!

A survey has found that having one coffee a day cuts the risk of falling ill with Covid-19 by a tenth.

The Irish Daily Mail reports US scientists analysed records of 40 thousand British adults for the survey.

They came to the conclusion that coffee's health-boosting plant chemicals may turbocharge the immune system.

Last year, Forbes reported that coffee can lower blood sugar, give you a sharper memory, and perhaps even longer overall lifespan.

The popular hot drink also has a cocktail of compounds that can boost our mood and generally make us more tolerable from around 8 am to noon.

Eat those greens

The survey also found that a portion of veg can also help fight off Covid-19.

So you can always go for that healthy option too!

Unfortunate news for tea drinkers though...

That hot drink didn't show to help.

But we can all agree that tea has lots of other benefits right??

The research finding were published in the journal Nutrients.
