But this new event is taking dating to new levels - something we've certainly not heard of before.
One Dublin company is running a mattress speed dating event next weekend.
Des Kelly Interiors have announced they're making their stamp in the dating business, calling themselves, "Irelands Latest and Greatest Number One Matchmaking Agency".
Their 'Mattress Speed Dating Night' will take place in their Long Mile Road store on Saturday 9th of April!.
They say there are limited spaces available, so don't waste any time and get over to their stories for the link to sign up.
The description says: "We want you to feel relaxed, and really come out of your shell. So, ditch the heels, and fancy clothes! Comfy clothes are mandatory!"

And from looking at their website, the mattresses look very comfy.
So even if you don't find your perfect match in a human, you might end up finding your perfect new bed!
