Almost 10% consider leaving partners over snoring

Almost one in ten of us have considered leaving a partner due to their snoring.

That's according to a new survey carried out by Specsavers.

16 per cent of people said the noises sounded like a pig, with 14 per cent saying it was like sleeping next to a lawnmower.

Over 25 per cent of respondents said they slept in another room, due to the disturbance.

Nearly half of us admitted to elbowing said snorer, or attempting to turn them over.
