Grainne Gallanagh is Ireland's Miss Universe

A Donegal native living and working in London, has been crowned the winner of Miss Universe Ireland at Dublin’s Mansion House.

Grainne Gallanagh picked up over €40,000 in prizes and will now go on to represent Ireland in Miss Universe 2018.

Grainne has had success in beauty pageants in the past, having previously been crowned Miss Donegal 2016, and she was also a Miss Earth NI runner-up.

As a nurse, she has been working in a women’s health clinic, raising awareness about women’s health during her Miss Universe Ireland journey, and has raised funds for her local women’s centre in Donegal.

Miss Universe 2018 will be held on December 17th 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand.
