Travel agents claim they are already seeing bookings for skiing holidays next winter as well as Lapland around Christmas.
The Irish Travel Agents Association believes business will start to improve from around September.
However, not everyone is so sure that internationally travel will be allowed even by next winter.
CSO studies found just 1 in 6 people are prepared to book a holiday in 2021.
