English music fans have been enjoying the first weekend of the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.

Over 40,000 people are in attendance at the Latitude festival. It's one of the major events on the music calendar for those in England.

The festival is taking place at Henham Park off the coast of Suffolk. Mask wearing and social distancing is not mandatory at the festival.

Organisers have designed specific tents and marquees along with air purifiers to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

The Chemical Brothers and Bastille are among some of the weekend's Latitude headliners.

Elsewhere, two other big music festivals have taken place in England this weekend. Tramlines festival is ongoing in the city of Sheffield this weekend.

While in the south of the country, Standon Calling festival is taking place. 15,000 people are in attendance there.
