It's a big day for Dublin band Fontaines D.C., who are nominated at the 63rd Grammy Awards which take place tonight.

Their second album 'A Hero's Death' has been nominated for Best Rock Album.

Harry Styles, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish are all set to perform at the ceremony.

Beyoncé leads the nominations with a total of nine, she will also be performing on the night.

The awards show has not been without issues though as it has been criticised for its nomination process.

The Weeknd has said he will boycott future shows and he says he will not allow his label to submit his music to the Grammys ever in the future.

The Daily Show's Trevor Noah will host the virtual event in Los Angeles.

The show won't be on Irish TV but will be live on CBS and the streaming service Paramount+ from midnight tonight.
