It comes as the entire country has just come out of a yellow warning for snow and ice.

Around 7,000 cutomers are still without electricity following Storm Eunice but its hoped they'll have it restored today.

The worst affected areas are in South Kerry, West Cork and along the South East coast.

Here's today's full forecast:

Rain, sleet and snow, mostly confined to Ulster and northeast Leinster will continue to clear east this morning.

It's expected that'll leave icy stretches, leading to hazardous conditions in some areas.

Milder conditions with scattered showers and bright spells to follow - but another spell of rain will spread from the west later this afternoon and evening.

Temperatures between 5 and 10 degrees.
