Unfortunately for Katie, she didn't win Ireland's National Treasure on iRadio. The competition was very tough, she got down to the final four people and the Winner was announced last week on the AO Show with Aidan & Oonagh, you can find out who won it HERE

But last night Katie Taylor had a spectacular win & it was her fourth win this year beating (Finnish Professional Boxer) Eva Wahlstrom. She became the first Irish boxer to successfully defend a world title in Madison Square Garden, in New York, which is HUGE... Well done Katie!

Speaking to Press after the fight, she said:

"Eva is a tough competitor and we prepared for a difficult fight. It is a privilege to fight in Madison Square Garden with all these Irish fans here. The goal now is to become the undisputed lightweight champion of the world. I want all four titles next year. It was amazing to perform like that in front of an amazing crowd at a great venue like Madison Square Garden. Now I'm going back to Ireland for Christmas. I haven't been home for six months and I'm looking forward to seeing my niece & my family. I'm looking forward to a break now and then get back in the ring in the New Year."

Taylor was appearing on the undercard of the Canelo Alvarez and Rocky Fielding clash. She won all the ten rounds on all of the judges scorecards with a brilliant display. Katie retained her I.B.F. and W.B.A. world titles with the stunning win.

She did her ring walk to The Pogues Fairytale Of New York

Amazing!
