The game has 125 million players around the world.

In a recent interview, his Mam, Britta, said that her son use to be adventurous, played sports, went to the cinema and spent time with his friends.

Since playing Fortnite, that has all changed.

She said her son is now angry, depressed, withdrawn and anxious.

The teen is banned from playing until 4pm, but spends as much time as he can playing and now only leaves the house on a weekly basis.

When she tried to take the game away from him he has head butted her, which has led to her receiving concussions and they have called the police to their home.

In a recent interview on TV programme 60 minutes, his Mam said "It’s not as simple as taking the cord away and going, ‘Oh well, bad luck, you haven’t got the internet’".

In another interview lately with  9Honey, Britta said: "An addiction is an addiction. It doesn’t matter if it’s drugs, sex or online gaming. It’s chronic. We’ve been to doctors who have said ‘I don’t think we’ve seen such a chronic case’".

How have you dealt with Fortnite in your home? Do you/ your kids play it a lot?
