Don't mess with us Aldi!
We don't even need to say it... We've all been there.
You wake up on a Sunday morning, the fear is gripping every inch of your being, an empty bottle of prosecco sits taunting you on the kitchen counter.
You've fallen victim to another Saturday night that got out of hand.
That run you were planning for Sunday afternoon, gone, just like your vowel not to eat fast food as you call for a chipper.
Well, those days may be over!
Aldi are here to change our lives as they’ve come up with a ‘hangover free’ bottle of fizz.
Have you ever heard of anything more wonderful?
And this hangover vanquishing Prosecco is just £7.99 (€9.00).
So how does it work?
Well apparently due to it containing fewer sulphite preservatives than a normal bottle of bubbly, it’s thought that drinking it doesn't cause such an intense hangover.
However you would certainly feel fairly questionable if you downed three bottles of the stuff.
The fact the grapes are grown with ‘no pesticides or herbicides’ means it could lessen the effects.
Tweeting about its new organic range recently, the supermarket made a nod to the drink’s ‘hangover proof’ qualities, writing: 'We’re raising a glass this Organic September to our range of delicious, organic wine. Apparently, they’re hangover-proof… better have a glass to find out.'
Revealing more about the ‘hangover free’ Prosecco, Richard Bampfield - who is Lidl’s resident wine expert - previously said: 'We’ve all had that shocking wine hangover. This is sometimes attributed to the sulphite preservatives used in wine to keep them fresher for longer.
'Generally, organic wine producers use a lower level of sulphites in the production process, which means they are less likely to contribute to hangovers.'
