These certainly didn't exist when this exam was issued...

Is it just us, or does this look incredibly hard?

No calculators, no Internet... Kid's back in the early days of the 20th century had to rely on nothing but their memories when sitting school exams.

And this one, unearthed from Bullit County History Museum in Kentucky certainly looks tough enough...

Created for Year 8 students (First Year's in Ireland), the Exam, known as as the 'common exam,' covers everything from spelling, grammar and maths, to geography, history and physiology.

David Strange, an executive director at the museum which houses the exam paper, told The Huffington Post the exam was actually given to the museum last year.

However, the now 106-year-old test started gaining popularity again when it was picked up by The Mirror in the United Kingdom over the weekend.

Give it a go! We certainly didn't find it easy... And no cheating.
