A woman in Australia welcomed a flock of five geese onto her farm as she wanted to create a sanctuary for the animals.

However, the geese had other ideas.

Leslie Du Preez from Queensland initially allowed them to roam free on her small farm, but the birds didn't hesitate in turning her peaceful sanctuary into the set of a horror movie.

They reportedly terrorised the family, so much so that they had to walk around their property with sticks and brooms so they could get things done.

Leslie claims the geese were "a**eholes", who made grown men scream and "emotionally scarred a few kids".

With this, she knew she had to do something, so in an act of desperation, she posted on a local buy and sell group's Facebook page, with the hope of having the geese rehomed.

For payment she requested $50 and a bottle of scotch "for recovery purposes".

The Huffington Post reports that the flock were relocated to another farm, where the new owners "thought they'd be a great addition".

The geese are allegedly behaving well so far.

Leslie said: "They’ve betrayed me. You b******s, you misbehaved for us!"
