Makoto Endo reportedly stole over 70 pairs of worn shoes that he sniffed for sexual pleasure.

Police arrested him after they found the stash of shoes in his house.
He allegedly told officers:
"I did it to get sexual pleasure by sniffing the smell of well-worn shoes, regardless of their owners being men or women."
