Contiki, a travel company for 18 to 35 year olds, asked 1,500 millennials in the US what they would sacrifice for a free, six-month trip around the world.

And the answer is a lot.

57 per cent said they would give up sex. Yes, unbelievably more than half would rather hop on a plane than hop into bed.

The survey also found that 80 per cent would give up Netflix for the free trip, while 73 per cent said they would give up alcohol.

60 per cent of those surveyed reported that they would give up carbs to go globetrotting and 77 per cent would give up coffee.

But only 41 per cent of millennials would give up their smartphones to take the freebie holiday.
