NOX Hotel Galway have won a Highly Commended Award at Georgina Campbell’s Prestigious Irish Breakfast Awards.

The purpose of the Georgina Campbell Irish Breakfast Awards is to showcase the standards of Irish food and hospitality industries, and to link the best Irish food producers with those who prepare and serve food to the public.

The Georgina Campbell Awards are Ireland's longest running independent hospitality awards. Georgina Campbell is President of the Irish Food Writers’ Guild and has been writing about and supporting local Irish food, hospitality and tourism since the 1970s in newspapers, guidebooks and cookbooks.

Celebrating the hotel’s new win, owner Diane Burke said:

“Breakfast may be the most modest meal of the day, but it is also the most important. As a child I would have been told it gives you strength for the day, but from our experience of the hospitality industry it is clear that breakfast also sets up the kind of day an individual will have—a well sourced, carefully prepared and enjoyable breakfast allows for a happier, lighter, guest who is looking on the brighter side of life. This is why at Nox Hotel we strive to ensure each and every person who comes to our Hotel and our Fork Restaurant is served with the best of food and friendly smile.”
