How far would you travel for love?!

Not many of us are willing to commit to a long distance relationship but it's no trouble for a stork named Klepetan.

The bird has been travelling from South Africa to Crotia every year to see his partner, Malena.

Sadly, Malena can't fly due to injuries she sustained after being shot by hunters.

For the past 16 years, Klepetan sets off from his home in Cape Town in late February and flies 14,500 kilometres to the village of Brodski Varos in eastern Croatia.

It takes him around a month to make the journey.

The pair, who have been called Croatia's most famous couple, make up for lost time and add to their growing collection of stork babies. So far, they've had 62!

Klepetan then teaches his babies to fly before migrating with them in early August.

That's devotion!
