Everyone's favourite treat in hot weather is a 99.

The creamy cone is synonymous with summer in Ireland.

However, prices differ hugely across the country - with some shops selling 99s for €2.50.

But a supermarket in Roscommon is selling the ice creams for only 50 cent!

You can get a 99 in Duffy's SuperValu in Ballaghaderreen for mere pocket change.

Duffy's has been selling 99s for 50 cent for the past two years and they've no plans to stop.

And owner Kevin Duffy told Garry and Fionnuala on The Lift that there's going to be one day this year when they're free!
