The ten most popular places to get engaged around the world

Asking your significant other to spend the rest of their life with you is probably the most important question you'll ever ask.

Not many people are content with getting down on one knee at home or in their local restaurant. No, a proposal reportedly takes 25 months to plan. And some people pull out all the stops!

Wedding planning website Hitched has revealed the top ten proposal spots around the world.

They analysed over 10,000 Instagram proposal hashtags, including #bridetobe and #engaged, to discover the most popular places.

The number spot to get engaged is Disneyland Paris. Disney features a lot in the list - Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Florida takes second place and Walt Disney’s Epcot Park, Florida comes in at number 8.
