The capital erupted in a rainbow of colour yesterday for the annual Pride Parade.

There were scenes of joy across the city centre as thousands marched to celebrate our LGBTQ community.

Around 30,000 people made their way from Stephen's Green towards Christchurch, across the Liffey and on to Smithfield.

Leo Varadkar made history by becoming the first Taoiseach to participate in a Pride march.

Addressing the crowd, he said he'll use his office to advance the cause of LGBT rights.
