Fancy a bit more of a frugal Christmas this year?
Apparently, you could save yourself an hour-and-a-half and 58 cent on Christmas Day, if you cook a turkey crown using an air fryer.
What's a turkey crown?
A turkey crown is the body of the bird with the legs and wings removed, leaving the white breast meat attached to the bones - great if you can't justify a whole bird.
How can I save the time?
Granted, this little life hack won't work with a full turkey - and you need a pretty big air fryer, but if you're only cooking for a smaller group, it might just do the trick.
A large air fryer, with a capacity of 7.3 litres, can fit a medium sized turkey crown of 1.8 kg.
The Irish Daily Mail reports the air fryer will cook it in 55 minutes, compared to an oven cooking time of 2 hours 25 minutes.
