If you're looking for a unique name for your newborn, here's where NOT to look.
Parentings website Emma's Diary has published a list of the 100 worst baby names for boys and girls.
Some of the names listed are truly shocking.
For girls, Chardonnay, Tu Morrow, Boomquifa(yes, you read that correctly) and Varaminta were listed among the worst names.
And for boys Cletus, Jedi(yes, as in Jedi from Star Wars) and Spartacus (as in Gladiator) were the worst possible picks.
However, the site has put up a disclaimer that the list is only for fun and that if parents "love a certain name, then you should use it and forget about what anyone else may think."
And there are some fairly common names making the 'avoid' list - Kevin and Deirdre to be specific!
Although some of the comments under the names may suggest otherwise. Such as this one for Helga:

Another commenter had the unusually harsh opinion on the name Kevin, saying it's a "dying breed of a name and one that should stay on the worst list"
