There's nothing more annoying than someone shouting motoring best practice at you when you're trying to concentrate on the road.
And a new study has proven you don't have to look too far to find a backseat driver, with 73% of people admitting there's one in their immediate household.

Here are the top signs there's a backseat driver in your midst:
- Giving unsolicited advice on when you should turn (49%)
- Complaining that you're driving too slowly (37%)
- white knuckling the dashboard (36%)
Of the 2000 people who took part in this survey, commissioned by Smith Micro Software and conducted by OnePoll, three in ten parents of teenagers say their teen is the family’s biggest “backseat driver,” while 23% said the same of their spouse or partner.

- White-knuckling the dashboard - 36%
- Complaining that you're driving too fast - 31%
- Yelling "watch out!" at the sight of pedestrians / animals on the road - 26%
