Finally some signs of Bridgerton coming back!

Netflix's hugely successful period drama is finally rearing its head again after being out of the spotlight for a number of months.

We knew a new season was on the way, but Covid threw a spanner in the works adding to delays in getting new episodes filmed.

But we've finally been given a glimpse of what to expect from the second installment.

We already know it'll feature a whole different circle of characters than Daphne and the Duke - but it's not Daphne's brother Anthony who takes the spotlights on his quest for love.

Tyla reports "newcomer Simone Ashley will be playing his potential bride, in what we suspected to be an enemies-to-lovers plot should the story follow the plot in the The Viscount Who Loved Me, the second book in Julia Quinn's Bridgerton books, which the series was originally inspired by."

And with two more Seasons to follow this one, we're sure there's plenty of room for plot twists and a heap of drama.

We have no official release date just yet, we only know the new episodes are coming in 2022.
