The big day is fast approaching and we all have a tendency to over-indulge.

Whether it's an open tin of Quality Street in every corner of the house, mulled wine, or enough turkey to feed the whole village - you're probably going to eat more than you should this Christmas.

But some of the foods presented to you over the festive period leave your stomach feeling less than ideal.

Fans of Brussels sprouts will be disappointed to learn that they are in, on the 'bloaty list' this Christmas.

New research shows a third of people who suffer digestive problems say they get worse over the festive period.

Christmas pudding and cream were also listed as foods that lead to indigestion.

The study of 2-thousand adults found 6-in-10 blamed increased digestive problems at Christmastime on over-indulgence.
