Buying a car can be one of people's biggest purchases, but many find it all a bit much.
This week, we heard how inflation has meant you could get a great deal on your used car if you decided to sell.
But more than half of people find the process of buying a car intimidating, with 61% saying it could be made a lot less complicated than it currently is.
Research carried out by Motorpoint in the UK found that the biggest concern for people looking to buy a new-to-them car is figuring out how much is too much, and a fear of being overcharged for their new motor.
Half of the 2000 respondents also said they don't know whether to haggle when buying a car.
As a result of the concerns, more than a third (36 per cent) admitted they would like to go through the car buying process without speaking to anyone and doing it all online.
And 31 per cent would prefer if they had no involvement with any of the faff of making a purchase and a friend or relative bought the car on their behalf.
